credit card slots

wouldnt it be cool if when you are, say, on amazon or something and you wanted to order something, instead of havinbg to type in your credit card information, if there was a slot on your computer than you could swipe/insert your credit card into and it fills in your information?

has anyone ever thought of that?

geez for 230 bucks i think ill type it in myself. lol

i guess its more for those small stores that basicly run everything with like 3 or 4 comps. where instead of a cash register they use quicken or quickbooks
