Aqua-Soft ForumsI have found out that i should try to skin an aplication, but which? I am a complete ****ie in xml, dont know a sh##, so it should be a small aplication, that is easy to skin. Anyone got any ideas?

The easiest though would be to create a background for y'z dock.
Oh and winamp 2x is fairly small too.
What is Savanna programmed in? I think that its layout is in XML but is XML just skins? or is it programming too. I liked to learn how to program a app like that or how to make something as good as alilms finder. I don't know where to start. Do you use a program? Do you just open notepad and type pages of code? 
I know for sure they don't type their apps in notepad, try opening it in notepad and see what they would have to type :canadian: Savanna is programmed in Delphi I believe
I know that many apps use XML for the skinning part. I know that XML is the "program language" used to "explain" where the buttons should be and so on. But i also know there are template programs for some programs, that make the XML for you, you just place the images, but i think many programmers hate those programs by som reason. I tried to skin the app called Quicknote, and i think that must be the easiest program to skin ever! It was made up by 3 images, and you just wrote what the images was called in a text-file, and the font and so on, and you were finnished! I dont think other programs are so easy 
i am interested in this delphi? Where can i get it? Is there any site that teaches how to use it?

Found it: Here and it was not quite what i remembered.. You take an image an use one of the built in templates.
Anyone know what Quark does? I think it is something like that. Maybe I am just stupid.
Quark is a high-end press-layout program.
On the original topic, I think Workshelf isn't that hard to skin. Winstep.net offers a even a good tutorial. I once tried to do that, but my abilities at using graphic proggies are just too lame.
