Backlight on laptop.

I recently posted asking about making my laptop not go to the windows logon screen when I closed it over, As I am recently new to laptops I don't know much about the workings of them. Therefore I have another question - When I unplug the power to my fully charged laptop the backlight goes off, I know this is a method to stop power draining, how do I get it to go on, or where do I toggle it on/off.

somewhere in your keyboard you should have the keys to control brightness of the screen. It's usually a combination of the Fn key plus something else...

You may also check your configuration on booting by pressing F12, F2 or saomething like that and change your energy saving properties

Laptop screens always dim when unplugged to preserve power. You can manually brighten it.

Yeah, there are different settings for plugged in vs. battery. You'll have to manually brighten it--usually by pressing the Fn key (if there is one) and the up/down arrow depending on whether you want to brighten it or dim it.
