does anyone know any good tutorials for making websites im relatively new to this sought of stuff and need your help.
Programs that i have are dreamweaver, flash, fireworks, microsoft office publisher and frontpage 2003.
tutorials for any of these programs would be great

when i first started making websites, i found the best tutorial is to just go and buy like a small simple book about dreamweaver or something.
Dreamweaver is probably the easiest yet most powerful web design system for ****ies so id go for it 
pre-made webstites:

easy to use and customizable 
- My advice may be to learn and understand HTML, then move to CSS.
- Read about accessibility, table-free webdesign and so on and so forth.
- A good place to start for the theory behind "making websites" would be www.alistapart.com
- Remember: It's not about the programs you have, but about understanding what you're doing
- Write by hand. No really, do it. Afterwards, you can let do Dreamweaver its job.
Just my two cents
Yeah, I don't understand why people are referring programs to make web sites. I can make a web site from scratch via Notepad. You have to understand the basics of HTML, which isn't hard to learn, neither is CSS.

getting beyond wordpress, anybody have any sort of experience with CMS? e.g. drupal? joomla? mambo?
or any experience making their own custom architecture, e.g. zope, ruby on rails, phpontrax, turbogears?
just wondering what people use, why, and what tools.
