Still, that black MacBook Pro looks nice. I think the new iBook is more likely to ship in optional black, but that render still looks nice. Meanwhile, the culmination of my dreams is merely to have a Bister Firefox theme working with 1.5... well, being based on Safire would be nice...
All that effort and they didn't even bother to color the sides. Let alone the fact that the screen looks superimposed and the menubar doesn't even look like it has a shadow under it.
On the sides, I think they were going for an iPod type feel, where the sides and bottom were polished metal. As far as the screen, definitely a bad job. Angle isnt 100%, no depth, no glare or texture to the screen, etc,
Yea, apple really needs to do a black mac. Same type of coating as the ipod nano.
I'm digging the mockup of the rumored next gen video iPods. I'm really looking forward to seeing these things with touch-sensitive screens!

I think that's a mockup also, the "MacBook" logo looks like the Tahoma font.
