Not Working Virtual Drive PidlShorcut

Hi, I made a PidlShorcut for a virtual Drive(F:) i made with Alcohol 120% but there is some *bugs* with it:

-The icon wudnt just show when i create the shorcut

-When i close AveDesk and restart it, it's not here but it is in the Control Panel

-I have to change a setting in its properties to make it visible

-When it appeared, i mount a image, the icon shows up, but when i un-mount the image, the shorcut completely disappears but its still on the Control Panel.

I dont know what to with it to fix it so it stay like this all the time. Dunno if there is a way to fix it.

I'm not sure if this is know bug but I also have trouble with icons disappearing from automounted drives. It will show in the deklet properties windows but I have to change the icon and click apply for it to actually show. At othertimes the automounter module just disappears from the list of instlled modules even when the dll in in the modules directory.

It doesnt really bother me and I've lived with it so far but seeing this thread I thought I would throw my 2c in.

P.S.(I'm sure someone will tell me to use the search function and give me a dozen links with a solution but like I said I havent sought a soloution i've just been living with it)

This is a bug in avedesk 1.3: dreadnaut has posted a temporary fix for this, I can't recall the name right now - I'm sure he posts it here.

Hmm... im not sure that i understood what you guys said.. so.. it is a bug of AveDesk 1.3 and it will be fixed in 1.4? If its that, there is no problem with me because the icons not showing doesnt really matter. But if there is a fix to keep the Pidl Shorcut to stay on desktop when i mount and un-mount images... that wud be really nice!

Thanks alot. Its been an hour.. and getting really impatient lol

i thought it disappears simply because there is no point in showing an empty drive, the same occurs when i link an ipod from avedesk, perhaps thats why it only appears when you mount an image.

perhaps to counter the problem, simply keep an image permanantly mounted in, that could solve the problem :P
