Aqua-Soft ForumsIs it possible to remove the File/Edit ... menus form such programs as Picassa, say, or even Microsoft Word. And if so, can it be done in such a way so that pressing Alt-F, for instance, can bring up the right menu, a la Styler and Multi-Plugin? Many thanks.

With Stardock Object Bar you can remove the menu but I don't remember if you can acces to them by pressing alt+F

Oops, I misread it, but yeah, I know you can use the compact menu to get rid of the menus, but you can't remove them to ObjectBar that I know of...
But yeah, definitely, ObjectBar is the way to go. It does a really good job of removing the menus from any program where it's possible, and there are ways to have it trap the shortcut keys, although I don't know what they are.

Yeah, ObjectBar doesn't recognize the menus for several programs (e.g. Firefox, GAIM, AIM, Opera).
Yeah it's because Windows can use either menus or toolbars for a file menu and ObjectBar can only read and remove menus.
