Even Apple agrees... the first true Virus/Worm/Trojan for OS X is out and about.

They still can't decide what type (Virus/Worm/Trojan) of bug it is, but they agree it's definately one of them.

I personaly think it should be called malware since it requires the user to do something to cause the infection.

Saw that a few hours ago. Haven't there been Trojan horses/exploits before for OS X, though? I would argue this isn't technically a virus...

I agree. If viri were like that on windows we wouldn't have had massive attacks.

Plus this affects only the PPC version of OSX.

From what i've read it's more of a proof-of-concept than a real threat.
