For anyone who messes around with weather docklets, I was wondering if there was a code to have day abbreviations like Mon. Tue. Wed. etc. I know that %s will give the entire name and %S will give the first letter of the day, but is there a code for just the first three letters?

What meter are you getting the values from? Normally a time meter is used and %s & %S don't correspond with what you describe.
I'd say that you want to use %a when using a time meter.
This is from the help files:
The Time meter uses special formatting codes. All formatting codes begin with a ‘%’:
%a Abbreviated weekday name
%A Full weekday name
%b Abbreviated month name
%B Full month name
%c Date and time representation appropriate for locale
%d Day of month as decimal number (01 – 31)
%H Hour in 24-hour format (00 – 23)
%I Hour in 12-hour format (01 – 12)
%j Day of year as decimal number (001 – 366)
%m Month as decimal number (01 – 12)
%M Minute as decimal number (00 – 59)
%p Current locale's A.M./P.M. indicator for 12-hour clock
%S Second as decimal number (00 – 59)
%U Week of year as decimal number, with Sunday as first day of week (00 – 53)
%w Weekday as decimal number (0 – 6; Sunday is 0)
%W Week of year as decimal number, with Monday as first day of week (00 – 53)
%x Date representation for current locale
%X Time representation for current locale
%y Year without century, as decimal number (00 – 99)
%Y Year with century, as decimal number
%z, %Z Either the time-zone name or time zone abbreviation, depending on registry settings; no characters if time zone is unknown
%% Percent sign
I know next to nothing about SysStats, but is there a method to truncate values? You could simply cut it off after three letters, if this is possible.

Hmmmm, I don't know if I can answer your question, but I'll give you all the info I can. I have made my own weather widget by modding another one so much that I don't remember what the original name of it was. I can tell you this though:
Format is %S and I see the first letter of the day
Meter is set to Weather. My other options are (none), Drawer Animation, and Hotspot
Selector is set to //day[@d=1]/@t
Is there a way to incorporate a time meter as another option? If so, how do I go about doing that?
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out how to add a time meter and I used your list of % codes. Now my only problem is getting the days to be in forecast format. I have it set up to have a three day forecast and previously (when I had %S with a Weather meter) I was able to get the next 3 days. Now all of them say the current day. What do I need to put in the Selector spot?
