Aqua-Soft Forumsi think im running AveDesk without having installed it.. becuz i dont see any AveDest in my All Programs in Start Menu.. all i do to open is is to 2xclick on AveDesk.exe and it runs.. but i think i dont have everything becuz i cant add drives desklet cuz i dont find it anywhere.. if someone can help to really install it.. please.. i woud like to fully use the program thanks alot

If you right click on the AVEDESk.exe and select pin to start menu it will be put into your start menu. In you want it in your programs thingy then just drag-and-drop on to the programs menu.
What is is that you don't find? If you want drives appearing as desklets your need to add them by going to Avedesk control panel-> desklets-> add desklets->'PidlShortcut' tree item-> add item
From there it should be pretty much self explanatory.
If you want removeable drives automaunted as desklets then you need the auto-maounter module installed. It should be in the avedeskinstallable packages directory.

I think he's talking about the Drive desklet from AveDesk 1.1. If so, the PidlShortcut has replaced it(use aleph's directions to show a drive).

i want to have my harddisk drive on my desktop.. like C: drive but i cant.. when i go
Desklets--->Add... ---> + PIDL Shortcut---> i only get the the tree Recycle Bin and My Computer, nothing else.
If one of you guys can refer me where it explain how to add more PIDL Shortcut in the tree
And i also want to put a virtual drive on the desktop but everything time i close AveDesk (the program not the window) and i turn it on again, the icon drive doesnt appear on the desk but it appears on my Pidlshorcut in the Desklets Control panel. Yes i think i installed the Automounter (but i dont think it is the right thing to do) by double cliking on it but im not sure if its the real procedure and i dont know how to use it too.. if you can also refer me where it explain how to install ( if i didnt do it correctly) and how to use it.

Just open any type of PidlShortcut, go to Desklet Properties->Shortcut and change the path to the drive letter that you want to open(ie C:)
