As for the old toolbar bitmaps, there will not be an option to choose which you want in the coming update. It would be too confusing for most people, and require a lot of modifications to the installer honestly. HOWEVER, I am going to release small packs for stuff like this. I will release a small installer, you simply run it, it extracts the bitmaps to the source folder, and runs the Force System Files Update tool. Update the files, restart, and viola, new toolbar bitmaps. Easy as pie.

UberIcon is a software program. Google it for more information.

The drive letters was removed from v3, because I was tired of getting e-mails as to why peoples drive letters disappeared. Same with the Recycle Bin, etc. To remove drive letters via TweakUI, you have to select the "Show Network Drive letters before the drive" or whatever it is. The guy who did TweakUI mixed up the options, and it has yet to be fixed. (A restart or log off / on is required for it to take affect)

caz the default setting is C:Program FIles...... if i install the windows in a different drive, it cant exclude the programs

I've set it to %programfiles% now, but it will only be applied if you don't already have Y'z Shadow installed, because if you do have it installed, I don't want to overwrite anyones settings. So if you already have it installed, you'll have to set them yourself. But thank you for the suggestion.

I've added UberIcon now, and made some more tweaks and made a bunch of code revisions. Installer is still exactly 30.0mb.

Also.. I've created the first mod, that will be available when the update is finished (it won't work with 3.0, you need the update). Here's a screenshot to show:

I have installed Flyakite v3.0 put my icons for the microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Etc.) will not change there icons after i have repeatedly tried the system files update. What should i do?

What do you mean exactly? You can modify the programs once they are installed however you want. Once modified, if you install 3.5, it will not overwrite your settings anymore.

RKLauncher is on every account the same, is it possible to install RKLauncher in such a way that every user can personalize it to it's own needs/ wishes?

The different applications can be launched by all the users on a system. Via the "Current User Setting" tool you can mark which application and options should be used on an account, but the RKLauncher (for example) is using just one configuration.

Ahh... that you would have to manully make a copy of the Program FilesRK launcher folder for each user. It would still work with flyakite, but only the original RK Launcher folder, not any renamed copies.

EDIT: I mean only the original copy will be accounted for with the uninstaller and the Current User Settings tool. Any duplicate renamed folders, you would have to manually delete or add to the users startup.

In v2 it said "Error Loading Operating Sistem" and i had to insert my WinXP CD and go into the recovery console and use FIXMBR and FIXBOOT to repair...

In v3 it said that hal.dll is missing or corrupt, and then i had to reinstall windows...

Both installations went fine when i ran them without selecting the bootscreen

In addition to the changes so far, can we update to a newer build of rklauncher. I have been running a newer, more stable rklauncher build.

You asked about yZ's shadow.

I have disabled it because for some reason, it leaves window shadow artifacts on my desktop.

Its not important to me and I just assume have a feature which lets me disable or uninstall it.

Possibly, I may just change it system wide in 3.5. I don't know yet. I like the other animations, but the magnifying glass / computer animation I was never fond of.

Umm... read the first post. It says e-mail me. If you can't follow simple directions, the chances of me getting very good feedback from you are probably slim.

Also, how does you having Y'z Shadow disabled help me? I simply asked if anyone had any better, or more accurate settings for Y'z Shadow to simulate the actual Tiger shadow. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't really see how that helped me.

I had another question for everyone that I forgot. Is anyone using different Y'z Shadow settings? If anyone knows what the best settings to get as close to the actual OS X Tiger shadow, let me know, and I'll update it. Thanks.

I don't know which settings would be the most like Tiger, but I changed my settings in such a way that I don't see a sort of "glassy" border around windows anymore.

Top -4 (default ?)

Left & Right 15

Bottom 23

Offsets to inner site 3

To me the shadow with these settings looks more natural.

Okay, I have gone through and setup the extra mods in a way that users can easily make their own modifications. If you want to test this for me, simply download the attachment and read the instructions. It is VERY easy if you take a minute and actually read the instructions.

This example is for the v2.0 Dialogs mod.
