How do you use your AveDesk?

Hy!

I've worked with Ave before doing UI mockups & developing new ideas for Avedesk.

I'm trying to get people's behaviour usage pattern for Avedesk to see what areas would need the most updating/reworking.

So I would need a good number of people to tell me exactly what kind of desklets they use, & what they do with them & how frequently!

Ex:

Pidl Shortcuts > 4 to 6 used > changed 2 times a week

AveTunes > Changed every month

Wheather widget > changed once

Notes > 3-7 > color changed when made

Something like that...

I hope to have a good overall understanding on how the pople use the program, these things tend to be quite surprising many times .

Well usually, I use them as little widgets on my desk. You know, the icons and avetunes. It's great to make your icons look better. Most people use it for the same reasons also.

i use rss, stickynotes, avetunes, instant photo, calendar, pidl shorcuts frequently

i don't use weather desklets, unit converters, etc.

pidls - two of them open my download and storage folders in total commander, others appear when i connect the ipod, put a cd/dvd into the drive or when there's trash in the bin (this last one is not a feature, i just use a blank PNG as the empty icon)

Wheather widget > Always use KoL's avescript graphics

Notes > 2 - 4 (change colour dependant on topic)

My AveDesk is set to be accessed very much like Dashboard as I find that the most usable. Only the Weather stays on my desktop and notes if they are a priority.

Now the view to reply ratio is pretty low, c'mon I know there is plenty more people out there using avedesk!

I've been throwing around plenty of ideas for features & improvements, but it will only prove as usefull as the amount of people using them, no need to waste devel resources
