I mean app that can change icons for any extensions you want. even system tray but not nessecery

I've used iconpackager for a while but it's only good for standart sets with drive and "my computer" icons.
So what's the best way to do this?

You can add extensions to IconPackager's list. At least, I know you can with the registered version though I've always had problems with IconPackager in general not showing all the icons I've changed.
To my knowledge there's no comprehensive program that can do all that. I could be mistaken, though

IconPackager can change just about any icon for any extension you add. The only thing it can't do is change the icons in the system tray.
if you want to change extension icons with no software, open an explorer window, go to tools > Folder Options and select the filetype tab. Scroll down to the extension you want to change and click advanced > Change icon
Icon Phile's exactly what you're looking for. I've only had one problem with it, in that when you drag n' drop an icon into the interface, you've got to drag it onto the icon above the one you want to change. Otherwise it works great.
Thnx for the replies. Yes I think IconPhile really good program, though i had problems with some extensions to appear properly. I didn't know that u can change icons for any extensions with iconpackager, so i'm gona give it a try to see which is more easy to use.

I use IconTweaker which is easily customizable via the xml files for extensions. That said, I think your choice was better as Iconpackager comes preconfigured for most major apps.
i think microangelo can do this...sorta. i don't remember. i haven't used it about a year.
