MS word 2003 disbale second language temporarly

I am using my friend's laptop, it has got MS Office 2003.

Every time (annoying) when I open a word documnet, I am facing this problem:

1- Keyboard language: Arabic

2- Cursor starts form right

Then I have to configure it manually (keyboard language : English, cursor starts form left )

How can disable that (without removing language, because it is not mine)

I think taht you could fix that by editing the default template. Don't know if this is the correct name but in Spanish it's called "normal.dot". There you can edit font, alignment, language...

It's quite simple:

Usually you can find it here C:documents and settingsuser nameapplication datamicrosofttemplates

If not, try saving any file as a template and check the location of the file. It should be the same as the one you need to modify.

BTW, you will probably not be able to save your modified template with the same name. Type anything you want and then (with the explorer) delete teh original one and rename your modified template.
