Does anyone have idea on a good strong desk that can hold 2 computers. Here are 2 desk I like so far but don't know where I can buy them or could hold 2 computers with 2 monitors?

On the subject of desks, does anyone know anyone a place that does smaller ones? I've got a crappy 1 meter x 1 meter space to use and I've been looking for a nice desk to go there for a while now.

a buddy of mine used an old door (was >6') and mounted it to the wall w/ corner braces so there were no legs... towers were on floor parallel to wall so out of the way... worked well for gaming and dinking around w/ a friend...

also, ive seen someone make a desk w/ the monitors back to back, so you are looking at the other person sitting across from you... was alot of fun when playing driving games and such... was easy to do w/ a square desk...

depending on your monitors and excess stuff on desk, you shouldnt need anything too great for desk strength... esp if you keep the towers on the floor. two 21" monitors would be approximately 120 lbs, but if you go to LCDs you are talking about 20 lbs...

Timan, I like your setup, where did you find that desk, it looks like it can hold my 2 computers and my 2 monitors. I have a Mac and dell xps with 23 inch apple and 30 inch dell, how long is it? and how much does it cost you?

Ikea, is where I jot mine, and they have loads of atachments for it, loads....

I bought the extra swing shelfts for a printer and a top shelf ...

I think that I paid less than 200 for the whole set up , but that was 3 years ago and they still make that model..

if you're just looking for a long table and don't need shelves and the whatnot, cheaper solution which is what i did, is buy this:

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...600*16476*16477

with this

http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...productId=44620

total=$55

get an L shaped desk. once you worked on one of those, it's hard to go back to traditional desks.

IKEA JERKER ! 99$ comes in 3 colors. and has the ****tiest instructions :D

#355281

get used to it... everything from ikea has the worst instructions... lot of times it doesn't tell you that you need extra materials, like you know... screws.

Here ya go - kind of pricey but I haven't found a desk yet that can match the coolness. I'm saving up for a nice big corner desk suite.
