[help] Using msstyles with windowblinds

I hope this is the right place for this thread...

The thing is.. whenever I want to install a new msstyle I just click the .msstyle part of it and the display properties window opens with the option of the new style. But now when I'm runnin WB when I do the above, the display prop window opens but just showin my current WB theme, the 2 default windows ones and the other WB ones. The msstyle just doesn't get installed. Same thing even if I exit WB. Is it supposed to be that way? Is there a Way around it? plz help

yes there is, uninstall WB!, there is no other way i think

Oh I knew THAT one! I'll hav to exit WB (obviously) but I don't wanna uninstall it.

Just a thot.. when flyakite installs itself, WB is there and when its complete and the tiger style is installed, its magically sitting in display props ALONG with the WB skins.

Any other ways? plz?

not workin. are the styles sposed to b in a specific folder? is WB sposed to unloaded?

#354795

Styles have to be in C:WindowsResourcesThemes. The whole point is that you don't have to unload WB for this to work.

Got it. Trick was to keep the ctrl key pressed TILL the display props window came up.

Thx a lot nightcrawler.
