dude, why would you even say that? are you accusing him? do you think he stole something? if so, there's very clear rules about how to handle this (pm a mod). or, are you just spouting some 'no ripping' party line?seriously...
Helloooo, since iLife'06 has been released I was searching for screenshots and I had another thread opened where I was asking for screenshots,
http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread....2169#post352169 , so I don't understand why should anyone accuse me for stealing from others, almost everything I have used are from screenshots, except for the buttons,radiobuttons,checkboxes because I could not get them from screenshots to make the thansparent sides for them. And I think I'm not the only one who is doing this.
This is my first release, not my first creation, but my other styles ar other's mod and I'm not allowed to post them as my own, but this one is my work.
And yes,it is tiger's start menu, because I wanted to leave it like that, there were no iLife gui start menu and taskbar, but I could change that in the future if somebody wants something different too

Wow, that looks really good! Except, unified windows would make it much better.

I really like it. It does look very similar to the Streamline theme, but I like the aqua taskbar in yours. Very well done.

Yeah, maybe it's similar, but that looks more like iTunes.

Now that i've seen the preview, did you ask KoL for permission to use his taskbar/start menu?
Although i disagree with the way Ashiaveli stated it, but that start menu looks EXACTLY like KoL's Tiger 2.0 :slant:

I told everyone before, I used screenshots,but maybe you're right with that logout part from the start menu,I don't know from where I got it, It could be KoL's, I'm not sure but that's the only part,but if that's a problem, I will change it, and you can check the rest, it doesn't mach with any other themes, and the taskbar is mine.
And if that's KoL's then I have to ask his permissiom, but please pm his adress to me, and everything will be fine, because I don't want any voices to hear after this.

Oh, and the "save as..." dialog window looks fantastic
Maybe a substyle with compact startmenu for 48 px icons and it would be (nearly) perfect.
I will try to satisfy everyones wishes but for the moment I have to fix the problem with the logout panel, and when it's done it will be downloadable again. that will be in approx. 10 hours from now, because it's 2 AM here and I have to get some rest until then look at the preview.

I got pesrmission from KoL too for the buttons and checkboxes, so it' everything ok now
Ok, i just found out something that could use some improvement: the taskbar is a bit to thick (just 3 or 4 Pixel).
- the startmenu is overlapping the taskbar
- the systray icons are a bit lower than the spotlight icon
- the selected tabs are smaller than the taskbar
If you allready got the permission from KoL to use some of his components, why don't make your taskbar similar to his?
Or ask him if you can use his taskbar.

Ok, changing to classic and then back to ypur style works.
But thats strange anyway. Never happened with any other other theme.
Maybe you can figure out what causes this problem.
The preview looks really nice. Can't wait to try this!
