Apple Logos

I downloaded them from an Apple website, not sure if folks here realize they are around. I am going to be putting them on my server for download as soon as server maintenance is done.

Just want a head count of folks who are for sure interested. The logos are mainly of Classic Mac OS, the Apple, various texts, Newton Logo, Authorized Dealer Logos and others. Even a .mac logo. These are high res images, some are at least 1500 x 1600, others a bit smaller but still in the 800 x 600 range.

Let me know. I can make them available as EPS, TIFF, PSD, PNG etc. These are the best formats since these allow you to keep transparency bits, so I'm not really going to do them as JPEG or anything since that ruins the whole thing.

i think those are already online at...

http://www.theapplecollection.com/desktop/...templates.shtml

i donwloaded them a while ago... they are great. you gotta have stuff it expander to open the files... then they are just regular photoshop and ilustrator files...

enjoy the link.

those are very usefull if you need high quality original apple logos...

That's where I got them. I unstufed them so they can be used by PC Users, plus I saw a few requests in here for Apple Logos etc., so perhaps some members are not aware they can be downloaded, plus I offer them in various formats.

For folks that want to make Apple wallpapers or other images/icons, these would come in handy.

good thinking mr.Ciricon SRS... good thinking!

i hate Stuff-It Expander files... i dont know why they don't do something like a MacZip... (is there one MacZip app out there???)

#32886

great!! Ciricon SRS!!^^

I really need it!!

yeah~~

I hate stuff-it too....

is that the only thing we can use...

Well you can get expander for Windows but honestly it's so bloated, and it's not like the old days where stuff that was freeware was free with no ads or nags.....Now even though it's free they bundle the windows version with all sorts of crap....

I just use Basilisk II to use Stuffit for Mac to undo the files then transfer them back to the PC.

Macs do have Zip applications, stuffit and ZipIt i think it's called are on mac. Plus the new OSX can do tar and gz.

Just send me your e-mail address and I will mail them to you. It's about roughly 3MB iThink for the whole batch.

Also, my e-mail application seems to have gotten stuck using BinHex for attachments. What coding do normal mails use? I have options for Raw, BinHex, UUEncode and Base64.

So, send your e-mail addy and I will send the files.

I actually like Expander. Nice options compared to .zip, .7x, .ace or most other compression methods. Except for .rar of course. Rar still has the best options, if not the best compression.

#32909

Yes, expander is one of the better apps out there.

#32949

Yes, this is where I actually got my avatar and signature. I'm glad they host such high resolution logos and motos.

try modifying the "Cross Platform" in Stuffit Expander.

Setting all things to "never", might solve the problem, try other combinations.

Good Luck

I use stuffit expander, part of the stuffit suite. I have heard that winzip is capable of opening them too, but I dont know how effective it is.

try tweaking the cross platform settings, play with them a bit, you will get it to work.
