Greece is in group C, paired with Turkey which is probably the most dangerous of the lot. We were in the first pot from winning Euro 2004 but our preformance does not reflect that.

Lets start with analyzing every team in my group.

Turkey - A VERY dangerous team. Their attacking power shows no limits and Greece tied them both games 0-0 in the World Cup Qualifications. Their new coach seems determined yet Turkey missing out on the world cup at the hands of the Swiss is a low blow.

Norway - Unpredictable team in both ways. Their inconsistancies can cost them yet they lost I believe 5-0 to the USA just a week ago.

Bosnia & Herzogovina - On honesty most joined countries don't do well, but they are a respectable team..I can see Greece winning here.

Hungary - In October I think it was, Greece played a friendly in Greece with Hungary, we won 2-1 we scored the 2nd goal in the 89th and they equalised from a penalty late in the game.

Moldova - Minnow of the group, most teams should pick up maximum points from them and....

Malta - Equal to Kazahkstan in our WCQ group. Minimum points here is a disgrace.

hopefully we will be able to pick up at least 2nd place, we have been really bad form as of late having tied 1-1 with both korea and saudi arabia.

i agree with what you mean but other than turkey our group isnt that tough i think we will go thru from 2nd place...dunno from then the road depends on our coach who calls up 40 year old players and ignores young talent

Norway and Hugary are quite dangerous if you ask me, especially the Vikings, they've got some talented players, the likes of Gamst Pedersen (Blackburn Rovers) or Riise (Liverpool) but yes, Greece still have chance if they keep on playing the way they did in 2004

We played like we did in 2004 in WCQ and that is what costs us.

Our tactics have become predictable and a new Greece needs to be built.

Norway lost 5-0 to USA last week and last month we beat Hungary 2-1 in a friendly. I am confident.

only England and Sweden will be in the same group, but don't worry, they both will go through , I don't think Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago could compete with them, so I expect England and Sweden will be in the last 16 . As for Holland (one of my favorites team along with England and France), it's gonna be tough for them since they'll be playing Argentina, Cote d'ivoire and Serbia.
