[rel] Screenthief

Not sure if I count as community or not - more of a lurker I guess *grin*..

Screenthief is another screenshooting program which manages multiple monitors, translucent objects, many file formats, dynamic file naming, FTP upload and the ability to send photos to your Flickr photostream.

I know there are plenty of programs out there already to manage taking screenshots, so this is just my little contribution!

No screenshots really as it's just a tray based program. Please note that it requires .NET2 to run! :)

Working on fixing it up a little bit and doing a few overhauls, should push out another release in not too long.

Thanks for developing such an amazing app :D

It has great features, still haven't run it since I have 1.1 for some other things that won't run without it.

1.- I'd like to see video captured ( sorry if it does already )

2.- maybe there is a way to implement a preview border into the screenshot like Snapshooter for mac

Hi Willy, thanks for the words. Just a quick FYI - you can run both versions of .NET along side each other quite happily, giving you the best of both worlds.

Video capture, I think, is not going to happen with the program - it's just not what it is intended to do, I'm afraid. The preview border is great though! I plan to add thumbnailing support into the program, so should be able to add the option for borders, too - hopefully compatible with the Snapshooter versions.

I wonder if I should continue that project hm... I have an app sitting dormant right now which does that, loadable themes, ect. But I wasnt sure there was really a demand for it.

Already got it into the next version of Screenthief :)

Well, I have multiple monitors, and I also run ultramon (http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/) And all the screenshots result in a black area on the other side of the screenshot, where my seccond monitor should be. Example: http://rex.gv-hosting.com/PC_Screenshots/S...3-2-2006-2.jpeg When it should look like this: http://rex.gv-hosting.com/PC_Screenshots/S...Should-Look.JPG
