Downloading Problems

I've accedently unchecked a button whilst downloading something,

now whenever I downlaod something it doesn't ask me where i want to save the file it just puts it in this location

(C:Documents and Settings(username)Local SettingsTemporary Internet FilesContent.IE5YNUV8XYB)

My broadband connection is 2.2mbps so i've tryd downloding something but it downloads too quikly for me to check the botton again so is there anyother way i can solve this?

I guess try downloading a huge file then you can press the button and cancel the download. Might be worth a try.

Firefox - Tools, Options, Download tab, under "save all files to this folder", pick location u want

IE - http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=177976

folder options in control panel, file type tab, pick extension that you want to change so it prompts you for location, click edit, check confirm open after download, click ok ok
