Is there any way to make that effect faster?

i like it, really, but i would love it when the effect would have finished after

0.5 sec.

Yes....there is a way....don't use an nVidia GPU

The speed will improve when raduking sees fit to release a build with better speed. Until then, there's no solution, especially if you're using a nVidia card.
