Intel Mac Advertisment!

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but not even 10 seconds ago a TV commercial came on advertising the new Intel iMac! To my knowledge, there hasn't been a Mac commercial in quite a while, and I am pretty sure there was only one Mac commercial ever.

Of course, that was before my time, and I am a **** when it comes to Macintosh history, so I could be wrong.

I have, of course, seen iPod commercials before, I am talking about a commercial for an actual Mac Computer.

And yes, it was a bit tacky, but cool at the same time just because it was a commercial for the Mac.

i remember seeing some Powerbook ads on TV, those with Yao Ming using a 12" PB and another tiny little guy using a huge 17" PB

i remeber the g3 and g4 commercials were they Jeff Goldblum was the annoncer. one was for the old imac were it was like step one plug in computer, step two, turn on, step three.... theres no step three.

and ofcoarse theres the really really really old one were the jogging lady throws a sledgehammer. but i have only seen that one on the internet.

It's cool.....In Australia we have hardly seen any adds for any mac products (the iPod is the one exception) on free-to-air TV - They really need it....most people learn about macs from other people telling people-

I've shown people the new flat-screen imacs and they've been amazed that thats the whole computer...or that the mac mini was so small, or...

Imagine if all this simple little points about what makes mac unique was advertised- Jobs would have huge sales boost...

There is so much the general public doesnt know about macs- so many myths, like "u cant use microsoft software" or "macs are slower" or "macs aren't as innovative" and many people dont know about Mac's innovation, security, style....these are all key things that need to be known by the general public!

Come on Jobs MORE! MORE!
