Of course, I don't expect that someone will just come program and do graphic design, so I will offer upmy own horrible attempts at the graphics for this, but would love for someone to "tutor" me if possible. Show me what I need to do, and then I will do the work.

I purposely looked for stuff that is POSSIBLE as opposed to stuff I would just like ported. I don't care about any of the skins, just the functionality of the actual widgets.

But the real reason is that its an accurate title, and its what will happen. I will in my room totally flip out if I see a new Avetunes skin.

I'm well aware that scripting isn't known by everyone..

This is why I also have another project which is in progress too and uses the same engine as Avescripter. This other project will allow people to do desklets much easier. Eventually if I can it will have a built in debugger, "known" script library and online help, so that people can just select and insert scripts with help available.

This is a lot, but I'm hoping to first complete the next version of scripter 1.1 with bunch of new things in it and then release the builder after.

Time is only constraint right now. That and the on going requests that Andreas keeps putting on my list. (All good too)

But mean while, if you need help, just post it and I'll try to answer it. Been quite the last few weeks because of the holidays and the rush of extra work at my job.

i would likle a dictionary.com/theasauraus.com widget and i really like that wifi widget most of those up there are somewhat pointless.

I also like the currency converter (but with diff gfx like a white/ and a black one as well as teh wikipedia one is nice maybe with a toggle that allows that just shows the title wikipedia and when u hit the hotspot it expans and the search box expands (reduce desktop space usage)

How are News widgets, system status, and general updates useless? Especially the traffic and gas prices one?

If someone could recommend one of these ones for me to learn on I would be more than happy to start

Someone's garbage is some elses "treasure". Useless to one, usefull to someone else.

I would say learn with the news widget. Avescripter already has an example for RSS. If your news is RSS then it is easy.
