On the one hand it has Lame Voice-Over Guy and some poor-looking acting. That said, it has Milla Jovovich, explosions and music by Rob Dougan. I'm torn!
Also, I have the Equilibrium DVD sitting on my shelf right now. Good stuff, if only for the gun battles 
Yeah, these movies are far and away better than most of the generic crap Hollywood churns out these days. Granted it's not going to win any oscars, but if you like stylistic cool looking stuff (Aeon can't hold a candle to this), Wimmer is one to watch. Gun-kata rules.
If you like true meaning, emotion, and a deep movie, don't look for it in an action film. 
Seriously, this was made on a $30 million budget, and manages to pull off some action that looks like anime/comic book violence on crack.
Although I'm sure Rob D's furious angel was just for the trailer. Anyway, just wanted to give any action junkies like me out there a heads up on this.

I WISH I could one day be capable of releasing something as visually stunning as what is shown in Wimmer's movies. For that matter, Michael Bay has fantastic visual cinematography/visual style, or whatever you wanna call it. Alas, I digress

Just watched it, have to admit the action does look pretty sweeeeeeet....
Equilib was a goodie.
I hated Equilibrium, without emotion there can't be good guys and bad guys. Im however a BIG Milla fan so i'll be seeing this one for sure.
