Is there some way in which I can uninstall some programs? I downloaded a few programs, and I dont want them anymore.
I deleted the program folder, but they are still there.

What do you mean they're still there after deleting the program folder? What does "there" refer to?
Uninstalling programs is quite simple on a Mac--I'm not sure quite why you're having problems

There, as in, the programs still work when I dont want them to.
For instance, I downloaded a download accelerator/manager to test things out and such on my site (to see if it would work or not). It didnt work, which was a good thing. Now when I want to download things off of the internet, the download accelerator always opens (I would rather have FireFox do it).
I want this damn program gone... but it doesnt leave.
.
Was it Download Accelerator Plus? If so, follow their instructions...
So, yeah, if it's integrated into the browser, there's probably a different procedure. It really depends on what program you're using though.

Sorry if I am annoying you... but Im completely new to the mac scene (and im loving it)
To uninstall DAP please run the Uninstall App and then just delete Dap.app.Please make sure all your Internet browsers are closed.
Directly from the support files. This is often the best place to look--I hope you looked there first
.
It would appear you have to run some type of Uninstall App, presumably one that comes with the program.

I don't know about DAP on OS X, but I hate that program on Windows ![]()
