[help] Domain and host needed

Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't find it so here it is:

I want to buy a .com domain for a romanian business website. What is in your opinion the best place to take my business to? I'm a **** in this stuff, already tried buying from ipowerweb.com and have had a huge dissapointment.

After I completed the form and entered all purchase details, a "thank you, your order will be processed, you will be billed 14$" message appeared and that was it. Nothing more, I received no e-mail or other details.

Maybe my card didn't check out? I hope so now, after seeing all the bad publicity surrounding this company. Not to mention the "buy now at 2$/year" scam ( after the "purchase" I looked in their Terms and agreements and it seems they charge also a 20$/year tax and the "bad" math: 1 year is 2.5$, 2 are 5$ and 3 are 14.5$!!

Just hope they didn't bill me ( I took the bait and bought 3 years).

Anyway, the fact is I need a reliable domain seller fast and also a reliable and preferably free host that allows php and is easy to manage. Any good past experiences?

they are incredibly fast and reliable, they promise 100% uptime, which is very rare but if I were you id use dreamhost.. they are just insane!

i have godaddy for my domain

and im using powweb for my host.

they also have this easy script install which will help you install some of the popular scripts for you.

as for free hosts i haven't really found one that was good that was all the ones i used got shutdown or really restricted. which is a dissapointment
