I dont think that once downloaded in a browser that you can add them as podcasts.
One thing you might try is to subscribe to the pod cast in itunes- but cancel the downloads of the episodes before they get to far. Then browse to the directory of the podcast (eg. E:My DocumentsMy MusicPodcasts) and put the already downloaded file in there. You may also then need to drag and drop the files into the podcast window.
Since you downloaded the podcasts manually using your browser, they are just standard MP3 files. To get the manually downloaded podcast into Itunes do the following:
1. Open Itunes and click on the File menu, then click on "Add File to Library'
2. In the pop up window, browse to the location of the downloaded podcast, select it and click "OK", To select multiple podcasts to add, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the files to be added
To get them listed in the Podcast menu in Itunes and on your Ipod, you need to subscribe to the RSS feed. Typcially Podcasters will have an Itunes link which will add the podcast to Itunes. If there is no Itunes link but an RSS icon then do the following:
1. Right click on the orange RSS icon, select "Copy Link Location" (Firefox) in the pop up menu. .
2. Then open up Itunes, Select the Advanced Menu, then chose "Subscribe to Podcast".
3. Paste the URL you copyed in step 1 into the box provided. Click "OK" and you done!
Note this written from a WIndows XP and Firefox point of view.
Edited to fix some grammer errors, Need coffee.
