Problem with hiding the start bar.

I want to switch to RKL from OD but what I do is I make the start bar as big as the launcher, that way I can maximize the windows without them getting in the way of the dock. OD actually hides the startbar, while when RKL hides it, it's as if it deleted the start bar or something, thus making my windows full screen. Is there a tweak or something to make it hide the start bar...the right way?

Thanks.

With ObjectBar, I make the start bar the same height as it and then hide it, that way may maximized windsows do not get in the way of the dock. But with RKL, when you hide the start bar it makes it like the start bar isn't there at all, so the windows are fullscreen. How can I prevent this?

instead of hiding the taskbar when running rkl, why don't you do the same thing as you do when you're running ob, namely, make the taskbar the same height as rkl. windows will never cover the taskbar, as long as the taskbar is set to 'always on top.'

Wha...? I am doing the same thing as with OB. But RKL and OB hide the taskbar differently. I'm wondering if RKL and hide it like OB.

Though I realize using another program may not be acceptable to you, will this work okay?

Using another program is just fine, but when I click the link (in FF) it says Windows cannot open the file...and when I click it in IE it says the file is unavailable or something like that... :
