[Help] Frontpage not showing files

I opened my website in Frontpage (which I created it in) and I made a few new pages and folders. I saved and closed it. Then later, I reopened it up in Frontpage and my new files and folders were gone! I opened Explorer, navigated to the website folder and they were there. I need to work on those pages, but they're not showing. Can anyone help?

well I personally have not ever used frontpage and highly recommend not using it any further

First off i'd look in the recycle bin and see if the files are there

A great free web editor that has the "What you see is what you get" functionality is NVU (http://www.nvu.com/)

I hope that helps at all... again, i'd highly recommend you never use frontpage ever again

I realize that loads of people are going to be disappointed with me using Frontpage, but I actually like it and will not stop using it until I get a Mac.

Secondly, I already stated that the files are in the Explorer window and in the folder, so they can't be in the recycle bin.

Thirdly, even knowing this, I checked and they're not there.

Oh, yeah, if it helps, I am running Frontpage 2003.

lol any version of frontpage is horrible.. sorry bud but you gotta face the facts!

you said that the files existed and that it is infact frontpage that will not load them, is that true?

I think its time to make the switch and the open-source solution I linked you with is your best option

unless you want to pay for dreamweaver, which is the best program you will ever use.

nappystudios, I appreciate your concern. But I am asking a simple question that I'd like a real answer to. I am not going to switch any time soon, so please answer my question or do not post. Thank you.

BTW: It isn't so much that Frontpage won't load them. It knows they're there. I tried to create a new folder (in Frontpage) using the exact same name as one of the folders that wasn't showing and it said that there was already a folder with the same name.

if your mind is set on frontpage and your getting all these errors perhaps you should re-install it or check the mircosoft knowledge base for similar errors

just trying to save you trouble and perhaps teach you to code manually

I appreciate your concern, I'll be fine. I am way to lazy to code manually. I am a graphically oriented person, so I like WYSIWYG editors and Frontpage is easy to use.

I have checked the KB and nothing seems to relate to my problem. I will be trying a few things tonight (I'm on a different computer right now) so I will keep the wonderful users here posted.
