I just took the images of the Sticky Notes Desklet and gave them some transparency. So you have 10 different semi-transparent colored notes and a semi-transparent menu.
I think it looks nice and makes the Sticky fit better into the Desktop without beeing to chunky.
Just unrar the files into your image folder and overwrite the originals. Maybe you should backup the originals.

yes of course that is possible.
but when you make the desklet transparent, you will also have transparent text.
and with my mod you have transparent backgrounds with "normal" text on it.
the text and the color previews on the option side are aso non-transparent.

Nice! The MacOSX window transparency usually doesn't affect texts, that's what I like!
the download link isn't working for me, it says the RAR file is corrupted..
have you tried rightclick->save ?
if that does not work i have to upload it to another webspace
otherwise you have to wait until it is available on avedesk.org
i already uploaded it there and entered the description, but it has not been listed yet, which is not my fault

as i already said here four days ago, i already uploaded it to avedesk.org and filled out the submit form for it. don't know why it still does not appear there. 
They're kinda hard to see here but these are a couple glass "notes" images I made. Maybe you can use them. If anyone is interested there is also a glass "dock" calendar image in my gallery at DA.
