Good avatar websites ?

I hope this is the right place and i hope this post will stay alive.

Could you tell me the superb pages that i find good avatars ?

I'd heartily recommend http://afterglow.ie and Mr Walsh's fine Forum Faces icons.

Here's a sort of instant messaging system I did a while back in school when we didn't have access to MSN with my friends, there's a lot of avatar I collected over the years I stuck in the gallery.
