Aqua-Soft ForumsI don't know anything about fonts other than how they look. I know there is a problem with reading some text in dark skins and was just wondering do all fonts have to be black? Is it possible to create a white font? I thought of this last night while refining my UI as I like to use dark skins and it would be really nice to be able to read everything.

the color of the font is not set via the font itself, a font is just a bunch of vectordata, you could say (i know it's not that easy 
).
the font color is set by the visual style you're using, methinks... But you can easily change your UIs font colors via desktop properties
Actually, I believe what smoovie is referring to is the unchangeable font colour displayed in some parts of dialog boxes for example (particularly those parts that use Tahoma and are unaffected by visual style font settings). Currently, the only way to correct this problem that I know of is to use Styler and even then, it is not 100% perfect, although it does help a lot. Also, I was playing with a font editor the other day and I think you actually could make some sort of a white font (they had options to make shadows, etc. too I think) but that'd be overcomplicating the issue. I say just spend a little money and invest in Styler if it really bothers you, or maybe Windows Vista will correct this problem.
Thanks for the replies. JesterMania understood. what I was asking. I know styler helps some I was just thinking it would be easier to have a white font if that was possible I know when you look at fonts in the font folder they are all black and just thought, what if.
