Well: many weeks are passed from OD 0.90's release, and all we know how much busy are Jeff, but Jeff or someone that know more, can say to us if there are new releases soon ?
Thanks however.

Well, seeing the many docklets for Yz... is anyone still using OD? I've dropped it.
I am, because Yz doesn't work on win2k, and OD does. And there's no way I'm installing XP - nasty colourful useless OS it is!!

eheh
When a new version is released you'll see it posted right there on the frontpage news boss. And BTW, if Jeff makes some fixes from the OD suggestions I'll be an ObjectDock user full time. :baby:
I am still using OD, to be frankly, I don't like Yz though folks out there are in favor of it

Yeah! I hate xp! I had it installed once, but it just made problems for me. Xp is exactly the same as Windows 2000, just with better look and more bugs

I know, I know...
I have opened this thread only why I didn't listen nothing more about.
I'm notice that, from when Moby has released its MDDX9, the other docks are little goes to background.
And, yes: I agree with you, cause my laptop working fine only with OD
It's been a while since there has not been a new release, I hope that it has a cool new feature. I still use OD, Y'z is not my type, although docklets have started to take my attention.
I am waiting for new release and new features like menu system and docklets if possible. I hope they will release the new version very soon
it would also be nice if OD would be a DX dock too, in fact, it is The feature that makes me use Mobydock. And that is also why i'm not turning back to Y'z even though these cool docklets are pretty interesting.
This same question was asked on Deskmod.com and frogboy, the owner of Stardock said "ObjectDock 1.0 is nearly here. we wanted to get context menus onto the dock objects. I don't know about you guys but a task bar that doesn't let me do things to the task through a right click is useless.
ObjectDock is supposed to be useful, not just a pretty toy.
So before we went 1.0 we wanted to make sure that kind of stuff was in there."
Here's the forum thread if you wanna check it out http://deskmod.com/core.mod?show=forum&thr...d=2954&fstart=0
thanks, it's very intresting.
I was sure that Jef will going to do a great work, and Frogboy's words makes me happy ![]()
But since waiting for, I'm try to use Yz's docklets, and I find them rather amusing and useful.
I hope that OD will have them in the new version too.
indeed, i want to know when it's coming out as well. OD used to be my favourite, but MobyDock DX caught my attention, and it's just *so smooth* that i can't swtich back to anything else.
the Y'z docklets are looking interesting, though....

I sure hope they fix the bug where closing Outlook crashes the dock if yuou have the "running tasks" section enabled. The only thing that sets OD apart from Yz is the task section and if it won't work properly with my email program it's pretty useless. If I have to turn that feature off so the dock won't crash, I might as well stick to Yz which is getting better and better - especially with all the new docklets.
Others have reported the same type of dock crash with closing other MS Office apps, so it's not just Outlook, but I've only seen it with Outlook.

Sorry if the q is stupid, i`m still a ****ie :shy:
If you have a good graphics card, it offloads the graphics processing to the graphics card instead of the CPU...making for smoother graphical actions of the dock.
