[help] setup cell phone #'s as buddies in miranda

i'm switching over from gaim to miranda and i'm having a slight hangup with one thing, as the title suggests... i'm on my pc most of the day, and it's just easier to send mates messages to their phones over IM... with gaim, i was able to setup aim buddies with the format of +1xxxxxxxxxx and it would recognize it as a wireless contact. when trying to setup wireless contacts with miranda, however, it just thinks that the number is a screenname and says it's offline.

i attached a screenshot showing the user details of one that is working and one that is not... the one that is working was setup in gaim and came over automatically.

anyone know what i'm not doing? is there a plugin that's necessary?

as a side question, not as important, more than a nuisance, everytime miranda starts, the buddy list shows the status bar (bar with each protocol status)... i want that not visible and i have to keep disabling it. anyone know how to permanently? i know of the options-status bar-unchecking "show status bar", but everytime it starts up, that is checked off???

I don't know how to fix your first problem, but as far as the second goes, if you tell the status bar to collapse instead of trying to make it stop showing, it should work...
