[Preview] They nuked the sh*t out of us.

This is not the final version, but since I have doubts of the current progress, I wanted to ask you guys your opinion.

I'm busy with creating a certain collection of images from war-infected cities. Of course these images are all heavily edited pictures from peaceful cities and towns we all know.

My first one was Today All Hell Came Upon Us, and now I'm busy with editing a photo and creating some kind of nuclear blast effect. I wanted to know if you guys think if this is any good so far, cause I'm having my doubts. Of course the colours and details are not ready yet, but this is just for the blast effect. Give me some guidance please! Oh and for those that wonder, the pictures in the series will all be from well known cities all over the world. More on that later. Also busy with an iconset.

A bit of a morbid theme, but good work none the less.

As for the Nuke one, the distortion you applied is totaly unrealistic. At detonation, like you have displayed, the shockwave comes after the blast.

Light travels faster than the shockwave, so the buildings would be unaffected at the particular point in time of the blast you displayed.

Cool theme. Very morbid yes, but its a good idea. More public imagery like this would be good. People really need to *see* the effects of war to begin to realize how awful it is.
