Avetunes and notification

There's a program for mac called synergy that displays a notifier window in the corner of your screen with the current song, track, etc. just like avetunes does, but it appears and dissapears each time you switch songs. Is there a way to control the desklet so that it will fade in and out based on certain events like this?

There's another program for windows that does this called toaster but the itunes version looks like ****e.

I do believe people could use this Konfab widget while waiting for anything to be done for Avedesk/sysstats. Saying "thanks" and being nice aren't that hard!!!
