My actual reply:

BaStar provided us indiviual icons ripped from a screenshot. These icons were from a high profit company not related in any way to the Mac scene. And let's face it, you don't want to upset a company that deals in nuclear services .

Transmit icons are almost always provided in large sets, and, as far as I'm able to tell, they're re-creations. Or were you referring to a different icon?

The key difference is re-creation vs. screenshot ripping, in my opinion at least. Including Transmit icons seems to have become a standard for many Mac sets--I'm really not quite sure if there's anything we can do about that.

Hypothetically, if there's a thread with a clear rip of the Transmit icon from the banner on their site, and just that icon (or a few others), I'll take that into consideration and likely close it.

Does that answer your question or was I being too dodgy? .
