Before someone jumps on my throat for posting in GD, YES i am aware that this is not a GD subject but half of you don't even pay attention to anything else than GD and this patch is important enough to be slapped straight on your face.
Anyway, MS finally released an official patch for the WMF hole and i suggest you apply it. Hell even i patched my OS and i still use XP non SP

Are you sure this is the actual, fully-tested patch? Microsoft released the untested patch a couple of days ago, but told everyone not to download it, and have been adamant that the official patch will come out next Tuesday.
As far as i know they took down the "beta patch" this morning only few hours after they accidentally released it.
However this is up and clearly visible.
