if ur buying a mac now is not the worst time..... intel's are coming but rev a tend come with problems also... but i mean the imac just got updated and it's looking real fine so i dont understand what are you debating about... apple is going to keep on supporting PPC for long while... plus, all programs now run smooth on ppc and if you're looking at the imac im guessing you're looking for a consumer computer and the imac handles everyday tasks just brilliantly unless you begin to miss the viruses and spywares you'd get with windows.
