[request] "run" docklet or help

hi @ all.

i can't find anything in other threads...

exist a docklet to add the run dialog box to rk? i tried to drag & drop a shortcut, but this isn't working.

any ideas?

Glad you found it, the app I was talking about is just like that one. It also came with an shortcut to open the "Shut Down" dialog which was neat. Let me know if you want them and I will send them to you.

That replacement must work great on win98 or NT... but it doesn't on XP.

XP users do this: create a shortcut of the Run Dialog (drag it from the startmenu) to your desktop,

cut it and paste it anywhere you want, and drag it over the dock.

well, i'm still using XP, and the run95 .exe file is working great here .

and your suggestion isn't working. that's why i started this thread.

i can drag and drop the shortcut to the dock how often i want, but nothing happens when i click on it. sure you can use it?

Yeah... it works perfectly. Just make sure to make a shortcut to the desktop or any folder first, not the dock. Then, drag that shortcut into the dock. Works for me.

The replacement is not working here.

Really nice one I just downloaded is called SysCmd, and it allows you to choose from 16 system commands including Run, Find etc. from a right click. The last option you chose becomes the default whenever you left-click it - it's really very very helpful!!
