Computer Fan
We had the same problem with our computer. When you boot up, there should be two options, Something like continue and something about settings or something. Anywho, don't choose continue, and there should be some sort of reset history or the like. Sorry if this seems a bit cryptic, my dad did it while I was gone, then sort of told me what he did.

Hmm, might or might not help but I use to have a Dell, try this:
1) Firstly if the fan is not working, then do not under any circumstances turn on the P.C, the CPU
will overheat, and if i'm not mistaken Dell's have one exhaust fan on the rear case and a green
duct cover to exhaust the heat quicker for older Dell models.
2) Have you made sure the fan is connected properly on the 2-pin fan connector (always a simple
mistake). If the fan works at this point, make sure that it is spinning smoothly, always a good
idea to clean the fan of dust.
3) Also check to see if the fan is connected the right way, if you do take the fan out to clean, then
you want to connect it back so that air is exhausted out of the P.C and not into it.
4) Also, are you getting the "Prevous fan failure" error message, as a BIOS boot up error message?
If so try resetting the BIOS using the jumpers, sometimes the P.C may save the state of boot
error failures. Had this problem when overclocking my ram.
5) If all that fails, then think you may need to get a new fan or take it back to Dell to sort it out.
It is still under warrenty isn't it?
