[help] 2 problems with Rk Launcher!!

HI,

the Rk Launcher is great and the Aladdin´s Lamp Effect work also great! ,

1. Problem: the Aladdin´s Lamp effect does not really minimize all my windows f. ex. i can´t minimize Mozilla Firefox,. Mozilla is always minimizing to the normal Taskbar from Windows, without any Aladdin effect, i would like that mozilla is minimizing to RK Launcher like IE.

2. Problem: The "Taskbar" from RK Launcher only shows the minimizied windows, can´t it show all the windows i´ve got open , so that i can switch between them???

This is a known bug. Firefox 1.5 won't minimize to the dock. You can download the nightly beta build to get a version that has this fixed.

As far as I know RK launcher can't do this in it's current incarnation.

Thank you for that very quick reply. I´ve just downloaded the new version of Rk launcher it works great with the aladdin effect now.

Back to my 2nd problem , i will have to wait untill a new version is realeased and hoped that this feature will be in it.

I don't think your second "problem" will be fixed cause it's not a problem at all.

This is how OSX dock works and RK's purpose is to emulate it.

Where did you find the "new" version to get Firefox to work? I just download RK launcher from the official website, and I still have this problem.

@bgika: I believe you've got the official version which DOES'T minimize firefox properly. As somone has pointed out, you should get the latest nightly which can be found in this thread http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=24982

as for his 2nd problem: I think there's been a misunderstanding: RK does show all new apps if you tell it to and then you can switch between them as much as you want.

as for emulating OS X, as far as I know when you have more than one instance - the dock allows you to see a menu with the different instances in it, which is the feature I'm hoping for in the next releases. as well as remembering the settings (Name, image, etc.)
