I saw the iPhoto skin for Picasa 1.6. on osx-e.com, but it doesn't work for Picasa2? Are these different or the same version? I tried it on Picasa2 but it didn't work, can some one create an iPhoto skin for Picasa2 or am I doing something wrong if so could someone help or please make a skin for Picasa2!! Or is it impossible to skin the new verison?

I tried to skin Picasa 2, but I'm completely unable to locate the graphic files used in it's layout. I think my resource editor struggles with them, but I'm using PE explorer and I've tried reshack, and can't think how else to locate them. How did you extract them and replace them, Nicesnake?
Edit : i was thinking that picasa2 have similar resources like Hello ( For which Aperture skin is almost done) now im noticed that picassa resources are only in this nasty respack.yt file (runtime->respack.yt) and i don't have idea in which format is this, and how to unpack it. So no picasa 2 skin for now

No, it's weird, I've tried to get inside with all sorts of programs now, and I just can't make any headway whatsoever. There's got to be a way of opening the thing up but even googling yields 0 results for it. I don't know what to try.
[EDIT] @Trent: I think your best bet for picasa 1.6 would be torrents or p2p because I just quickly googled for it, but all the download links where it's listed have been replced with 2.0 now. Anyway, 2.0 is a lot better, even than iPhoto to be honest, so your probably better off with that one, and just putting up with not-that-terrible skin they provide.
Yeah, just I just came across the skin for the older version and then I was like I wonder if there is one for the new one, but no, Just it would be awesome to have it added to my skined programs list and it would go with the mac stuff..
It isn't worth getting the older version like you said I might aswell deal with the skin they have
