No, not that I am aware of...you can clear it using the dbtool.exe file found in your Miranda directory.

If you installed Miranda in c:program filesmiranda, then the dbtool WILL be there unless you deleted it.
Does what add more on your drive?? Why does it bother you that it saves the history?

Well, I don't know of a way to disable Miranda's history, but you could always go look on their forums. I have a feeling their dev's know a little more about their product than I do 
There is a plugin called history sweeper http://miranda-im.org/download/details.php...viewfile&id=227 that could solve your problem. But it hasnt been updated since 2003 so all bets are off for it to still be working.
I have a feeling that miranda 'needs' the history to be writen to the db for it to work properly- so turning it off all together would not acutally be possible. But I think that it would be resonable to delete the history on exit.
