Aqua-Soft ForumsI recently heard about a software called iPodWizard, which allows you to change the graphics of your iPod. I do like the theme of my iPod, but I think it would be awesome if I could make an Eternal 1.1 theme for it. But I am concerned about ruining my brand spanking new 5G iPod. My question is simple: has anyone used this software, and if you have, has it caused any harm to your iPod?

I have, haven't broke anything yet, just read the forums to find what whats safe to do and what isn't.
Quick Recap:
Fonts: can't do with 5G yet. it will break it.
Graphics: Safe.
Strings: Can break, need to know what you're doing.
it's fine....they are working on a 5G version and should be out soon
When you say 'can break' does that mean permenantly? or will a firmware restore fix it?
Just do a firmware restore with the ORIGINAL untouched firmware and everything will be ok.
Actually, if you mess with a certain string (don't rememebr which one), the computer won't recognize your ipod anymore, and then you are screwed. It is safe to change the graphics though. But I think your ipod warranty won't cover you anymore if you hack the firmware and put it in your ipod.
I've changed the graphics many many times, and that is totally safe, and realy cool!!!

If you don't understand this technical talk perhaps you need to improve your general computer knowledge.
First lesson: Don't mess with something if you don't understand it. In other words, look up these terms on wikipedia or Google before doing anything.

i used ipodwizard and instructions off ther site and now my apple ipod drive is messed up can any one help??????????
i only got to use my ipod for a week and basically wasted $150 does any one know any ways 2 get music on ipod other than itunes

First get the ipod updater from apple. use that to fix the problem.
For putting music on the ipod. foobar and winamp both have high quality plugins to do that. (I know foobar's is called foo_dop)
