[help] Desktop gone

Hello all,

I recently installed the "Hide Desktop Icons" module for AveDesk and now I cannot display anything on my desktop.

The purpose of this module (for all who don't know) is to hide all your desktop icons while AveDesk is running, and to bring them back when AveDesk is not running.

AveDesk crashed for me today and now I cannot get the icons back. I still have them as they are listed in the Desktop folder reachable through Documents and Settings. So at least I know they are there.

Can someone PLEASE give me a hand with this as I would REALLY like my desktop icons and files to display on my desktop again. Also as a side note, any new files or shortcuts I attempt to display on the desktop won't display either.

Does AveDesk crash every time you open it? If not, you can remove it...

AveDesk Control Panel-->Extras-->Modules-->Modify Modules.

Pick the right one and uninstall it.

right-click desktop > arrange icons by > show desktop icons
