I know there has been a problem with the trash docklet, if you have a bunch of stuff in your recycle bin.

What are your system specs?

Margin Hotspot seems like the option that will make it so you can click in the vicinity of the icon instead of directly on it. It creates a box around each icon that is the hotspot area for launching the program or whatever. I keep it turned on.

BTW: What are your comp specs?

Ah, figured out what the margin hotspot really is. It's basically the thing that makes the "Autohide" feature work. When RK is in the autohide mode, the margin (bottom of the screen) becomes a hotspot (enabling the dock to show itself). If you're in no dire need of autohiding and you keep it off, maybe it helps to keep the margin hotspot off?

Just as a follow up to this is there anyway of sorting the margin hotspot? I like the autohide facility a lot but when windows loads up then RK is incredibly slow. If I exit and then reload it is fine but just wondering if there was anyway to remove the sluggishness without the restart or losing autohide?

Many thanks.

Edit: Just tried turning off margin hotspot and rebooting and still sluggish until it is either reloaded so maybe a bug I fear.

would you guys please try the latest nightly and tell me if this is presesent there also ?

WOW, Trent 3 posts at once, and the mods have let you get away with it ;).

Your computer specs are needed, so here is what you do:

Go to "My Computer" right-click>>Properties(Right there you will see text, whats below Computer: are your "specs".

Please share them

I remember when RK launcher used to have the same performance issues >_<, one moment it was smooth and quick, after an hour or so it used to become sluggish.

Glad that our developer, Raduking is still developing this amazing app, and fixing bugs, etc.

#369365

Yeah I am using the latest nightly and it is still sluggish when it boots up, unless that is something else has opened up on desktop at the same time.

For example I use AVG and if when I boot up there is an update to AVG then RK Launcher zips along but on normal boot-ups then it is still slow. I realise that is probably really badly phrased so if I can clear it up in grammatical or even give you a better example of what programs were open etc then I will
