It just so happens I was up late last night making some icons and made a notepad replacement icon for myself.

Hope it's what you're looking for.

Oh, I like it, it looks very nice. But it doesn't match to my dock style.

However, thank you very much :)

Not bad. I'll try to recolor it so that it will match to my dock. Thanks.

I've uploaded the .psd so you can make it any color you want. Download it over at DeviantArt here.

There are Notepad icons in the following sets:

Snow E.2, by Sascha Hohne (Rad-e8)

Set 4, by panoramix (search here)

Temptation by oooADAooo (she has a DA account)

d3A by Miloswzl (search Google)

DZPO (Google)

Orbital icons by Florian Freundt (Google)

akkasone, ajbrutico, and dimage have also created icons (in the sets dArkLOver, II2, and Docs respectively)...search for their usernames here at A-S.

@proenca--Nice icon!

Oh, thanks!! Gonna search for those sets.

But.. tommorow, I mean.. in the morning. It's almost 2:30 am here in Poland right now. G'night ;P

Nice icons guys/gals! I'll be these; thanks for posting them...

OT:

NC how in the world do you remember all this... im picturing a huge drive full of icons searchable and cataloged in some rediculous database

I'm actually kinda curious about your filing system for icons as well.. you seem to have them all at the touch of your fingertips.

What's your secret?

#344413

Maybe there's some program like FontBook only for icons... If not, there should be. :P

NC_DesktopNCOS X

Gets all the programs/files I have, subdivided into category (say, programs that emulate System Preferences, or all the AveApps--and I do mean ALL of them--etc.) There's about a year's worth of emulating stuff in there, including, for example, every single beta of RK Launcher :P. I used to have all the 1.3 and 1.2 pre-betas of AveDesk, but those too got lost :(.

NC_DesktopNCIconsCollection

Gets all 1.5 gigs of icons I have.

Subdivided into:

Applications

Aqua, Panther Icons

Characters & Movies

Games

Hardware, Folders, and Drives

Misc

Office

Sets and Collections

System Tray

Trash

I used to have a Filetypes there, but it got lost somehow :(.

All themes go into C:WindowsResourcesThemes. The ones I don't have applied but still like are simply zipped.

Pictures: Simply stuck into My Documents/My Pictures. I'm very picky, though, so the list isn't that long. Out of all of them, I rarely keep many walls.

Oh yeah, and My Documents/Miscellaneous/Aqua-Soft has various personal things, such as Unbe making a typo, the old C & D letter, etc. :P

I hope this insight into my psyche has provided you with a valuable lesson on why inhaling helium from a balloon at a young age is bad for you.

P.S: Of course, it isn't REALLY named NC_DesktopNC. I'm just paranoid.

I found this when I was searching for the Docs icon set which I still can't find. Can anyone link me to it?

AveIconBook. I don't use it, but obviously, it's a nice piece of software ;).

@All--Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies. :P

Well, really, I have these icons on a networked computer, each with the titles given to them by the creator. I just search (could use Explorer, but that tends to break down for a large number of files with thumbnails, so I use AgentRansack instead). So, really, it's just the power of searching. Well, that and I am omniscient. :P

@aquaman99--What Docs icon set? You mean Docunium? It's at rimshotdesign.com, if that's what you want...

Thanks!

P.S: xcalibertp, you can see my exact filing system in that quote aquaman posted.
