suggestions for desktop improvement

hey, this is my desktop:

just wondered if there are any suggestions that you could make so that it is more "mac" like?

also, as you can see in my chat window there is that blue avatar for my line of writing, how do i change this?

Get rid of the "shortcut to"...

Fix the margins on your Miranda contact list (your right margin isn't right)

You can change your avatar by editing the png in the MirandaSkins (or however your folders are set up)ichatwhite_blueimagesme.png

@veysadan i have tried konfabulator before which is kinda similar to avedesk right? and it was good at the time it just gets a bit messy

@ppoppe i have set the margins on the right to 0 but it is still off

I haven't tried Konfabulator (which is now Yahoo Widgets, isn't it?), but AveDesk, especially v1.3, is really easy to organize and it shouldn't get messy. It's better than ever - you should try it out.

Edit: read the tutorial again and found out that instead of the right margin being 5 it needed to be 7.

Yeah, pretty sure he does.

Even if you don't use widgets, the PidlShortcut desklet will help improve the icons on your desktop.
